- SYNOPSIS
- Strings -i=From,-o=To,-n=MinSize/K/N,-8=8bit/S,-?=About/S
- Strings [[-i] inFile] [[-o] outFile] [-n minSize] [-8] [-?]

- OPTIONS
- -i Read from inFile rather than StdIn
- -o Write to outFile rather than StdOut
- -n Smallest string to print (default 6)
- -8 Use default locale (default 7bit=US-ASCII)
- -? About `Strings'...

- DESCRIPTION
- The Strings command looks for ASCII strings in a binary file.
- A string is any sequence of 6 or more printing characters ending
- with a LINEFEED (ASCII 10) or a NULL byte.

- locale.library v38+

- NOTES
- The algorithm for identifying strings is extremely primitive.
